Missing Game is a unique and exciting click-style game that
takes players through the journey of a missing girl, named Champa. It puts players
in the shoes of this trafficked girl who overcomes dreadful circumstances and
fights against all odds to find her way to safety. This is the first adventure
game in the world that helps players understand the pains of a trafficked girl
through role playing.
Missing Public Art Project in association with Sandvik India
Pvt. Ltd came up with this one of a kind scheme to spread awareness about
trafficking. The game aims to make players form a deeper understanding of the
pains a trafficked girl goes through. Apart from English, Hindi and Bengali, the
Missing Game is now available in, Marathi, Telegu, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil,
Kannada, Nepali, Gujarati and Maithili.
This role-playing game is an interesting mix of puzzle and
adventure, and is developed in a very responsive way. It is available for Android,
los and PC users. This game was born out of the belief that inspiring art can
have a huge effect on people’s perception. Missing Game is a platform where art
meets technology to enable audiences glance into the dark work of trafficked
girls. A lot of groundwork, by game developer Satyajit Chakraborty and founder
of Missing Leena Kejriwal went into the development of this game. The work
included travelling to and interacting with those trapped in various red light
areas in Kolkata and Bengal.
